How we collect, protect, and handle your personal data at Onyet Corporation.

Last Updated: July 9, 2026

1. Introduction

Onyet Corporation ("we", "us", "company") is fully committed to safeguarding and respecting the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when using our website (onyet.id) and the official mobile applications and games developed by us.

We act as a data controller for the personal information collected. We ensure that all data processing is carried out based on principles of transparency, security, and compliance with applicable data protection laws.

2. Data Collection and Usage in Our Products

As part of our "secure by design" philosophy, our applications are engineered to minimize the collection of personal data. Below is a breakdown of data practices across our key products:

  • Nautik CBT: Our Computer Based Training (CBT) software runs entirely locally on your institution's computer laboratory servers. No test results, cadet profiles, or progress reports are transmitted to Onyet Corporation's servers. All data remains within your local network infrastructure.
  • NotifyLog: This Android notification history recorder operates on a 100% offline-first model. Captured system alerts are saved locally in an encrypted database on your device. We do not operate cloud databases to back up your log, and no alert data is transmitted outside your physical device.
  • Kiblat Compass: The app requests location access (GPS) solely to calculate the Qibla bearing deviation from your current position. This calculation is processed locally on your phone. We do not store, track, or share your GPS coordinates.
  • Onyet.id Website: Our website collects identifiable information (like name and email address) only when you voluntarily submit it through our contact forms to request product demos or schedule consultations.

3. Sharing Personal Data

We do not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. We do not embed ad-tracking scripts or invasive third-party analytics SDKs in our applications, ensuring a clean and secure experience.

4. Your Rights

We respect your legal rights regarding your personal information. Under applicable privacy frameworks, you have the right to:

  • Right of Access: Request confirmation and a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right of Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
  • Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): Request the deletion of your personal data, subject to legal record-keeping exemptions.
  • Right to Data Portability: Request the transfer of your data to another controller in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Right to Withdraw Consent: Withdraw consent for data processing at any time (e.g. for marketing newsletter subscriptions).

You may exercise these rights at any time by sending us a written request via email.

5. Data Retention and Security

We do not retain your personal data longer than necessary for the purposes it was collected for:

  • Contact form and demo inquiry data will be kept while your request is actively processed and deleted within 3 business days after you indicate you are no longer interested.
  • Customer relationship files (like business email threads) will be archived for legal records for a maximum of 10 years after our business relationship ends.

We apply strict technical and administrative safeguards, including local database encryption, SSL/TLS encryption on website forms, and internal access control restrictions to protect your data.

6. Cookies Policy

Our website loads Firebase Analytics only after you give permission through the consent banner. Analytics helps us understand page performance and usage; it is not used for personalised advertising. You may decline or withdraw consent at any time by clearing this site's local storage in your browser, without restricting access to the website.

7. Policy Updates & Contact Details

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with an adjusted revision date.

If you have questions, complaints, or wish to exercise your rights regarding your data, please contact our data protection officer at hello@onyet.id.
